My stay at Apsara Angkor Resort was generally pleasant, with a spacious and clean room that had a lovely Cambodian style. However, the Wi-Fi was frustratingly slow and breakfast could use some improvement.

The room was large and had a huge fan (which was great for drying clothes overnight). However, I did notice lots of mosquitoes, which was quite uncomfortable. I was also disappointed with the view from my poolside room, which mostly overlooked a roof.

Most of the staff were polite and accommodating, but my experience with the bellboy was unpleasant; I felt he was quite rude when I declined his help with my bag. Additionally, I faced some confusion during checkout regarding complimentary water.

The hotel is conveniently located near the airport, but it is on a busy road and quite far from the downtown area. A tuk-tuk ride to places like Pub Street costs about $1 each way, which is a bit inconvenient.
